Its three-channel light engine features a red laser for the red primary, a blue laser for the blue primary, and another blue laser exciting a static phosphor for the green primary, avoiding the need for a color wheel that could cause rainbow artifacts. Requiring placement a mere 3.9″ from the wall to project a 100″ diagonal image, it’s got one of the smallest throw ratios of any UST projector featured on this website.
