Hisense L9G TriChroma 4K Ultra Short Throw Projector + Screen Packages
The new for 2021 model Hisense L9G [manufacturer’s website link] [video] is a single-chip DLP 4K ultra short throw projector (which Hisense calls TriChroma Laser TV) that runs Google’s Android TV operating system. The L9G used red, green, and blue lasers to reach 107% of the BT.2020 color space, while Filmmaker Mode automatically adjusts picture settings to get content looking the way the movie-makers intended. It is bundled together with a 100″ or 120″ diagonal fixed-frame ALR (Ambient Light Rejecting) projection screen.
For the 100″ diagonal screen, you will need to place the L9 projector 11.4″ from the wall on top of a stand which supports the projector’s depth of 13.6″ and extends to at least 25″ out from the wall. Hisense recommends a 20″ height for the stand. The bottom of the projection screen will be 14.6″ above the surface where the projector sits.
Brightness is rated 3000 ANSI lumens. HDR10. 25000+ hour laser life. Built-in 40-watt stereo sound. WiSA Ready means it’s easy to integrate with WiSA wireless surround sound systems.
