If you plan on doing a considerable amount of viewing your ultra short throw projector during daytime hours in a brighter room with excessive ambient light emanating from lighting sources throughout the room and/or sunlight beaming directly or reflecting indirectly into the room through windows, you might want to consider a higher-gain “daylight” fresnel projection screen that’s designed to reject a high percentage of ambient light coming from both sides of, as well as from the ceiling up above, the screen. Compare this to lower-gain so-called “cinematic” ALR screens that are designed ideally for usage in more light-controlled and darkened viewing environments, which reject only overhead/ceiling ambient light, but also typically have a wider viewing angle compared to the fresnel screens below.
